Fully Automatic High - Performance Sawing System for Aluminium and Plastic Profiles

Designed for 550 mm saw blades, the Profilma 502 impresses with its precise cutting quality, high process reliability, and digital control system.

The Siemens S7 control unit with 7" touchscreen offers intuitive operation, an integrated piece counter, cycle time display, and comprehensive error diagnostics – including an IXON router for VPN remote maintenance. A piece multiplier function enables efficient cutting of bundled material.

The system is powered by a 7.5 kW motor (S6, 400 V, 50 Hz, 2,850 rpm) with infinitely variable speed control. The servo - driven saw feed with bottom - up cutting and bilateral kerf extension ensures burr - free, clean cuts. Material is fed via a ball screw spindle with servomotor – feed length: 3–800 mm. A liftable and lowerable support roller in the carriage allows gentle material transport. Reversing cuts of up to 4.0 m in length are possible. At the end of the material, the machine switches off automatically via a limit switch. Minimum remaining length from 75 mm (depending on profile).

Vertical and horizontal pneumatic clamps (6 cylinders in total) with individually adjustable clamping pressure securely hold the workpiece in place. The machine is mounted on a stationary base frame (working height: 960 mm). The saw blade housing is located beneath the table surface; the safety hood is manually opened and monitored by safety switches.
