First Aid for Children – Learning to Help Through Play
Pressta-Eisele supports a first aid coloring and activity book for primary school children in the Cochem-Zell district.
We're Part of It!
What do I do with burns, a tick bite, or poisoning? And most importantly: How can I help others in an emergency? District Administrator Anke Beilstein and K&L Publishing have set themselves the goal of answering these questions in a child-friendly way, publishing an easy-to-understand coloring and activity book for primary school children. We think: That's a great initiative!
That's Why We Support This Project
The book with many colorable pictures playfully teaches the skills to provide first aid in emergencies. It tells the story of siblings Mario and Olivia, who guide readers through various episodes together with their dachshund Waldi. Over 32 pages, they give tips and advice on burns, heatstroke, tick bites, poisoning, and shock. This way, children receive age-appropriate knowledge to behave correctly in emergencies and call for help.
With the support of many local companies, the coloring and activity books can be distributed free of charge to primary school children in the Cochem-Zell district. A commitment we are very happy to join.
