FlexCell
•The FlexCell is the modular automation cell by Pressta-Eisele – and it solves a problem that many manufacturing companies know all too well: either you invest in an expensive custom machine that fits perfectly but is difficult to plan, or you buy a standard machine that is easy to calculate but never quite right for your needs. The FlexCell is both – and therefore neither.
•The principle is as simple as it is effective: a standardised process frame forms the base. On top of that, up to three machining modules are individually configured – tailored to the processes the customer actually needs. Drilling, thread cutting, punching, milling, laser engraving, measuring – and many more process options beyond that. The combination is chosen by the customer. The cell is delivered by us.
•The result is a fully capable production unit in just five square metres. The FlexCell integrates seamlessly into existing production lines or operates as a stand-alone solution. Loading – whether manual or fully automated – is realised individually according to the customer's requirements and shop floor layout. The cell is controlled via Siemens S7, one of the most proven and service-friendly control platforms in the world.
