The SW 453 Reverse Garda - 3 double mitre saw is the advanced solution for demanding cutting applications. Equipped with three NC axes for length positioning and for tilting the saw blades both outward and inward, it delivers maximum automation, outstanding repeatability, and exceptional flexibility in profile processing.

Rigid Machine Bed for Consistent Accuracy

The machine bed is designed as a torsion - free welded steel construction and features round guideways in the longitudinal direction. This robust design ensures smooth motion, high rigidity, and consistently precise cutting results—even under continuous operation.

Powerful NC - Controlled Saw Units

Each saw unit is driven by a 2.2 kW motor (400 V/50 Hz) and achieves a cutting speed of 73 m/s. The saw feed is linear from back to front and hydropneumatically controlled, with a manually adjustable, infinitely variable feed rate.

The saw stroke length is manually adjustable and automatically controls the return stroke.

Electronic swiveling of the saw units allows precise angles of 22.5° outward and 135° inward, fully NC - controlled for maximum accuracy and repeatability.

The machine is supplied as standard with two carbide circular saw blades Ø 500 × 30 mm, Z 120. Each saw unit is equipped with a chip extraction port Ø 80 mm and pneumatic safety guards.

Automatic Profile Height Measurement

Automatic profile height measurement with longitudinal compensation, including a horizontal clamping cylinder, ensures consistent precision and reliable fixation of various profile dimensions.

High - Performance Clamping System

Each saw head is equipped with two horizontal and two vertical pneumatic clamping cylinders. An additional horizontal clamping cylinder is located on the fixed saw unit, positioned to the left of the saw blade.

In the event of a pressure drop, all horizontal clamping cylinders remain engaged, ensuring maximum process safety.

Optimized Profile Support

A pneumatically swiveling profile support is positioned between the two saw heads, improving stability and handling of long or heavy profiles.

Safe and Ergonomic Two - Hand Operation

Operation is performed via a two - hand control system. The profile is clamped by pressing one button; pressing the second button within 1.5 seconds initiates the cutting cycle. Releasing either button immediately retracts the saw blade, ensuring maximum operator safety.
