The TDC 622 EdgeMaster – 5A double mitre saw is a high - end solution for demanding cutting applications in modern profile processing. Equipped with five NC axes for length positioning as well as for tilting and swiveling the saw blades, it enables highly precise, automated cuts with maximum flexibility—ideal for complex geometries and the highest quality requirements.
Rigid Machine Bed for Superior Stability
The machine bed is designed as a torsion - free welded steel construction and fitted with linear guideways in the longitudinal direction. This robust structure ensures high rigidity, smooth motion, and consistently precise cutting results—even in multi - shift operation.
High - Performance 5 - Axis Saw Units
The saw units are powered by a 5.0 kW drive (400 V/50 Hz) and achieve a cutting speed of 78.5 m/s. The saw feed operates in two directions—from bottom to top and from front to rear—and is hydropneumatically controlled. The feed rate can be adjusted manually and continuously.
Motorized inward tilting of the saw blades from 90° to 45° and motorized swiveling from 22.5° outward to 135° inward allow highly flexible and precise machining, fully NC - controlled.
The machine is supplied as standard with two carbide circular saw blades Ø 600 × 32 mm, Z 140. Each saw head is equipped with a chip extraction port Ø 80 mm including connection and hose support set, as well as a minimum quantity lubrication system. Pneumatic safety guards ensure maximum operator safety.
Moving Roller Conveyor and Integrated Scrap Conveyor
A 2.4 m moving roller conveyor, mounted on the right saw head, provides optimal support for long profiles.
An integrated scrap conveyor at the rear of the machine bed ensures automatic removal of cut - offs and chips, contributing to a clean and efficient production process.
Precise NC Length Positioning
The left saw unit is fixed on the machine base, while the right unit is motor - driven and movable.

A pneumatically swiveling material support positioned between the two saw heads improves handling and stability of long or heavy profiles.
Safe and Ergonomic Two - Hand Operation
The machine is operated via a two - hand control system. The profile is clamped by pressing one button; pressing the second button within 1.5 seconds initiates the cutting cycle. Releasing either button immediately retracts the saw blade, ensuring maximum operator safety.
Modern Control System and Intelligent Software
Control is handled by an industrial PC with Windows Embedded and a 15.0” HMI touchscreen. The advanced software provides:
