The Frame manufacturing system PRESSTA® – Line is designed for the optimal production flow at the corner cirmping on aluminum frames and related work transitions.
The complete system consists of the following modules:
- Assembly Table: M.T.
- Corner Crimping Machine: E.V.A.
M.T. Assembly Table
The table consists of a fixed and a movable bar in rugged welded construction, each with profile support and conveyor belt.
The front bar has a bearing surface for the frame to align the corner crimper. The rear bar moves to the entered frame size. The measure input via barcode reader (option) or input into the control of corner crimper EVA.
On the frame there is a shelf with stack of boxes, in which the required corner angle and sealing parts as well as tools and materials can be stored for brushing on the miter.
After preparing, mating and alignment by the operator of the frame after the start enable on the control panel automatically with the conveyor belts in the corner crimper EVA transported.

E.V.A. Corner Crimper
The Eckverbindungsautomat is designed for the horizontal supply of aluminum window frames for fully automatic corner crimping of all 4 corners in a single pass.
It consists of a base frame and the carriers of punching units. A punching unit is fixed, the other can be moved depending on the width and length of the frame.
Between the carriers are 2 conveyors for turning on and outfeed of the frame and a pre-adjustment around the frame are to be positioned.
The punching unit consists of the punching heads with knife seat, push button and hold-down. For the corner crimping the punching units move to the frame, center it using the buttons and punch.
At the base frame is a shelf to landfill the required machine configurations (blade packages).
Infront of the base frame you can find the control panel for input and monitoring of work data.
Description of Machine Elements
The base frame is designed as a rigid welded and can be aligned and mounted with mounting plates on the foundation . In the Y axis precision guide rails and trapezoidal threaded spindles are mounted for positioning the movable carrier with the punching units .
The front support of the punching units is fixed to the base frame , the rear support is movable in the Y-axis. In both entities above the right punch unit is fixed and the left can be moved over precision guide rails and acme screw in the X- axis and positioned .
Between the two carriers conveyor belts are arranged to transport the frame between the punch units against an end stop and drop .
When positioning the carrier to the frame size of the inserted frame is positioned with a pre-adjustment between the punch units for the button.
The punching units with punching knife and key recordings made are mounted on a drive plate that goes to the pressing process to the input frame size and thereby centers the frame with the buttons.
The plant is operated from the control panel before Eckverbindungsautomat .
The following data must be entered:
Profile number , length and width of the frame , flap dimensions , probe position , number of frames .
As an option, these data can be transferred via barcode reader to the controller.
