Fully automated system for cutting, drilling and thread tapping of aluminium profiles

The Profilma 502 BG offers powerful sawing combined with precise drilling and tapping capabilities in one fully automated processing center. It enables simultaneous processing of up to two profiles—ideal for high - throughput, series production.

A Siemens S7 control unit with touch display provides intuitive operation, including part counter, cycle time display and fault diagnostics. The integrated IXON router allows for secure VPN remote maintenance. A piece multiplier supports bundle processing, and up to ten drill distances can be programmed.

Sawing is performed by a continuously adjustable 7. kW motor with motorized feed from below. Two drilling/milling units with thread cutting compensators are mounted on the outfeed side.

Drilling or combined drilling and tapping is done in one pass, directly followed by sawing.

The machine includes a fixed - height frame, safety hood, sound insulation, and a comprehensive clamping system. A precise material feed system with ball screw and servo drive ensures accurate feed and flexible cutting lengths.
