Profilma HS
High - Speed Automatic Saw for High - Volume Solid Material Cutting
Key Features
Description
High - Speed Automatic Saw for High - Volume Solid Material Cutting
The Profilma HS is a high - speed sawing system designed for cutting solid material in high volumes. Newly developed form clamping jaws hold up to three solid bars of up to 30 mm diameter simultaneously and separate them in a single operation. This results in cycle times of up to 1.5 seconds per cut and 0.5 seconds per finished part.
When cutting bar stock, the saw often determines the throughput of the entire production. Anyone looking to increase output quickly reaches the limits of conventional single - part cycles, or has to install additional saws with the corresponding demands on floor space, personnel and investment. This is exactly where the Profilma HS comes in: more output per cycle, on the same footprint.
Speed and dimensional accuracy are engineered together, not against each other. The system achieves length tolerances below ±0.1 mm and produces very clean, virtually burr - free cut edges. Rework, re - measuring and deburring are reduced or eliminated.
Single bars are processed up to 60 mm diameter. The Profilma HS is designed for aluminium, copper and brass. It operates with saw blades of 275 or 315 mm diameter, the 275 mm version optionally in 1.0 mm thickness. A bundle loading magazine, alternatively a horizontal loading magazine, feeds the raw material automatically. Finished cut parts are discharged automatically into a material box, with trim cuts and remnants separated automatically.
The basis is the proven series platform of the Profilma 460: Siemens S7 control with touch display, integrated IXON router for secure VPN remote maintenance, and service through our network in over 60 countries. Engineered and manufactured in Bullay, Germany.
The Profilma HS celebrates its trade fair premiere at ALUMINIUM 2026 in Düsseldorf, Hall 5, Booth 5A30.
